2010 - Member Golf Events
Something for Everyone!

MEN
Men’s “Swat”
Saturday mornings, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 am, tee off. Open to any member wishing to play (exception: Limited Golf members). Just sign up with our Golf Pro, Terry George; he’ll get you a game. Format: two-ball and individual. Cost: $10.00 per event.

Men’s Member/Guest Event, June 25 and 26
18 holes of medal play on Friday afternoon, 1:00 p.m. shotgun; 18 holes of medal play on Saturday morning, 8:30 am. shotgun. Better Ball of Two, 36 hole total, full handicap. The cost of $275.00 includes 3 days of golf guest fees, golf car rentals (practice round included), and lunches on Friday and Saturday, dinners on Friday night, hospitality both days on the course, a tee gift and all flight prizes!
Play your practice round anytime, at your convenience. Mark these dates on your calendar now; specific details will be available before the event.

Men’s Member/Member Event, July 24 and 25
Better Ball of Two, 18 holes Saturday and 18 holes Sunday, 8:30 a.m. shotgun both days. Pick your own partner, full handicap.

Men’s Fall “Closer” Saturday, September 25
Two Better Balls of Four, 8:30 a.m. shotgun.

LADIES
Ladies Golf Association
Play every Thursday morning beginning late April and continuing through late September. You must be a member of the L.G.A. to participate and be signed up by 3:00 p.m. the day before to play on Thursday. Groups, made up by our Golf Pro, are open to nine and eighteen hole participants. L.G.A. yearly dues ($35.00) must be paid, plus a weekly “Event” cost of $3.00 per person for play. The L.G.A. also hosts a ladies’ Invitational and an Interclub event each year, as well as The Rally for the Cure.

COUPLE’S EVENTS
“Hit ‘n Giggle” Events
They are nine hole, mixed events scheduled throughout the season and are usually held on Friday evenings. Check our newsletter for dates and tee-off times. You may bring guests to the Hit ‘n Giggle and there is no charge for their greens fees for this event. Also, the buffet dinner, following the golf event, is open to all non-golfing club members and their guests, as well.

“Jack & Jill” Events
These events are held on Sunday mornings, May 30, July 4 and September 5. Groups are made up by our Golf Pro and usually have a “Fun” format. Event Cost: $10.00 per person.

JUNIORS
Golf clinics this summer will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday mornings, June 11, 18 and July 9, 16 and 23. “Golf 101” clinics are open to junior members of all ages, both boys and girls. The clinics include fundamentals of the swing, chipping and putting, as well as golf etiquette and rules of the game. This year there is a bonus for you and your junior. For each “Golf 101” clinic your child attends, you can earn a free cart rental for both of you. You may bring them out any Saturday after 2:00 p.m.; however, you must accompany your junior for this round of golf. There is, also, a Parent/Child Championship on July 17 and the Junior Championship on July 31.

Note: All Club handicaps are used for event play and prizes awarded are in Golf Shop merchandise, or a Golf Shop merchandise credit that can be redeemed at any time. If you have any questions, please stop in the Golf Shop to see our Pro, Terry George, or call him at 724-222-4844.

MEMBER’S “APPRECIATION DAY”
Scheduled for Wednesday, October 6. Members can bring up to three (3) guests on this day. Guest green fees are waived . . . pay only a golf car rental! Tee time required.
